Obituary of Mary Ann Gabor

Mary Ann (Mazur) Gabor, age 85, of Shelton and formerly a longtime resident of Trumbull passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at St. Vincent's Medical Center surrounded by her loving daughters. Born in Bridgeport on January 20, 1939 she was a daughter of the late Albert and Theresa (Leskovsky) Mazur. Mrs. Gabor thoroughly enjoyed her work as a legal secretary for many years before her retirement. She was an avid bowler and quite talented with her knitting skills. Mary Ann also enjoyed playing bingo and looked forward to the occasional trip to the casino with her friends and family. Her greatest enjoyment however was found in the time she spent surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her devoted daughters, Lynn Therriault and her husband John and Lisa Farasciano and her husband Vincent, her four cherished grandchildren, John, Meghan, Matthew and Madison, her brother, Albert Mazur and his wife Ann and her sister, Joanne Hill and her husband George, as well as her adored nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Hill and his wife Elisabeth, Jennifer Tobin and her husband Evan, Kristen Mazur and Albert Mazur.

Friends may greet the family on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. A funeral service will conclude the visitation at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
